Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - London

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in Mechanical Engineering (Building Services) to become a part of a highly successful and leading multi-disciplinary consultancy based in their London office.


  • A BEng (Hons) degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience
  • Experience
of seeing conceptual designs through to completion and dealing directly with clients

  • The ability to use their own initiative and to work under pressure
  • An excellent ability to write their own reports
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • The ability to manage their time effectively
  • Experience
in Microsoft office tools

  • Have used Cymap, ProDesign Software (Amtech), Dailux/Relux, Cyspace, Revit/Magi CAD

Responsibilities:


  • Assist with projects by providing technical support and advice
  • Use design knowledge to ensure production of highquality drawings
  • Design of HVAC systems
  • Prepare specifications, schedules, drawings, and any other contract documents developed through the RIBA work stages
  • Writing of specifications
  • Prepare designs for the full range of Building Services
  • Maintain client relationships and securing of repeat business
  • Financially manage and report projects you are responsible for
