Flexible Location

£28,699 per annum based on 35 hours per week

Are you a skilled communicator who can manage multiple projects simultaneously, and wants to make a difference to in-need individuals and communities in the UK, who may be facing a crisis?


We are looking for a skilled Marketing Officer to promote our Community Education workshops and resources to individuals and communities who need it most.

You will lead marketing activity to support our Direct Delivery and Business Development teams. This will ensure our humanitarian education is reaching those facing a crisis. Does this look like your ideal job? Please read on and let 2024 be the year you dive into your next exciting role


A day in the life of a Marketing Officer
will involve:

  • Delivery of multi-channel, integrated marketing plans, to budget and time as directed by the Community Education Marketing Manager.
  • Analysing and evaluating data, to identify opportunities and make recommendations and improvements to marketing activity where required.
  • Ensuring that any Community Education marketing activity integrates appropriately with wider communications and engagement teams' support.
  • Working with the design team and external agencies to delivery all activity, on brand, in terms of visual identify and messaging.
  • Being an involved member of Community Education and the marketing community, where best practice and learning is shared.

To be a successful Marketing Officer, You'll need**:

  • Demonstrable marketing and project management experience
  • Used to working in a fast paced, collaborative and deadline driven environment, you will have proven experience of working with multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • The ability to manage campaign budgets
  • Your excellent communication skills mean you are comfortable providing clear briefs and reporting on performance against KPIs.
  • The ability to adapt to changing or new onset demands revising plans, content and approaches as needed
