Description
A leading law firm is currently looking to recruit an experienced Legal Credit Controller to join their finance team in the Manchester City Centre office.
You will be required to have previous legal credit control experience, the firm offer a mix of homeand office work and excellent benefits.
Legal Credit Controller - Manchester - £25,000 - £27,500
Duties include:
- Cash forecast weekly
- Complete cash report
- Run cost reports and action any client transfers
- Check bills rejected folder that the billing team issue to clients direct and resolve those queries with clients and fee earners
- Check bacs received each morning
- Investigate any receipts the cashiers cannot allocate
- Move all remittances received to cashier's folder
- Check scheduled collection actions and calendar in 3E in Aged Debt Portal and follow up on tasks due
- Action copy bill requests
- Arrange monthly debt meetings with matter managers
- Run and issue aged debts by MM weekly
- Run and issue aged debts by CCP midmonth
- Issue Final Demand & Letter Before Claim letters
- Prepare paperwork for Credit Manager re account going legal
