Our client a top 15 accountancy firm specialising within the owner managed business area across the UK is looking to appoint a Payroll Supervisor in their Wirral Office.

A well-established firm since the 1930's with an entrepreneurial and dynamic feel they are continuing to grow nationally as well as regionally.

They are looking for highly skilled multi-tasking individual to join to the team to assist in achieving their strategic goal of being the number one advisor to owner managed businesses


Main Duties & Responsibilities include:


  • Processing multiple weekly/monthly payrolls based on client requirements
  • Maintaining payroll records
  • Ensuring processes and procedures follow regulations
  • Responding and resolving payroll enquiries
  • The calculation of wages and deductions
  • Liaising with HMRC
  • Ensuring all clients needs are met
  • Calculating tax and NI commitments
  • Processing and submitting pensions

Key Skills & Requirements:


  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Good attention to detail
  • Able to communicate at all levels
  • Good MS Office skills
  • The ability to multitask
In return our client offers a basic salary of £24,000 - £28,000 depending on experience plus pension and great benefits package
