Youth & Community Engagement Officer
About the role
Working as a member of the Youth Team as a Level 3 Qualified Youth Worker, you will lead in engagement of targeted communities to provide and promote inclusive opportunities for young people.
The postholder will provide a valuable resource for Groundwork North East & Cumbria to enable it to achieve the Trust objectives.
Dealing with a variety of Youth project delivery tasks in a diverse and busy internal and external environment, ensuring deadlines are met whilst maintaining qualityGroundwork:

About you
We are seeking self-motivated, enthusiastic sessional Lead Youth Workers to join our team. Working in targeted communities to develop positive working relationships with young people and enable them to achieve their potential.
These roles will support the development of a full range of personal and social development opportunities for young people, meeting their needs through community engagement and capacity building.
You will be highly motivated and with a good understanding of both legal and ethical issues as well as best practice in relation to working with young people.
You will have a creative, innovative and sensitive approach to the situations, needs and difficulties faced by young people and young carers.
