Administrator (Procurement)


Yolk Recruitment are working exclusively with a company with years of experience in constructing Infrastructure Networks and Projects on a national level.

Their reputation in the industry is exceptional, with a track record of delivering quality products within budget and agreed schedules.

They are seeking an administrator to support with purchasing materials which ensures projects run on time.

As part of the procurement administrative team, will be you will be communicating with engineers, material suppliers and associated third parties in the most appropriate medium to ensure delivery of quality work.


What you'll be doing as an administrator:

  • Sourcing new suppliers, discussing costs and ordering materials.
  • Maintain and update supplier information, building relationships with new suppliers.
  • Communicating with local councils to discuss upcoming plans of disruption.
  • Reporting any damage on site from engineers
  • Liaising with engineers on site to assist with producing materials to order to site.
  • Raising invoices to the finance team
  • Booking accommodation for onsite engineers
  • Meeting and greeting any supplier representatives and liaising about future orders.

The skill set you'll bring to the team:

  • Experience of working in an office environment
  • Excellent communicator both verbal and written.
  • Building and maintaining relationships
  • Able to use Microsoft packages, particularly Outlook and Word
  • Time management
- planning ahead and proactive approach.
