Here at Foresight we are looking to recruit new part time and full time Volunteer Support Workers to help out with our Service Users during classes and in the meantime on a daily basis.


The role and responsibilities would include:

  • Being helpful and assisting Service Users to their classes, even if it's not a class you're volunteering in.
  • Escort Service Users to their classes in the mornings and afternoons and also to break times throughout the day.
  • Assist wheelchair users, including those who are not sure as to where they need to be.
  • Escorting Service Users to the toilets when necessary.
  • Reporting incidents to members of staff (including reception), the volunteer cocoordinator or to management when necessary.
  • Treating our Service Users and other Volunteer Support Workers with respect.
  • We also often have trips which our Volunteers take part in as our Service Users will need assistance there as well.


This is a voluntary position which means it is not paid work, however, driving and bus expenses will be reimbursed.
