Region NCE > SBU NCE Service > Moray East

Reporting to the SOV Shift Manager, you will join our Service UK team in the Northeast of Scotland working in support of our offshore windfarms.

Your role will involve operating as part of a focused team, keeping our windfarms in production through proactive material management and striving to maintain an efficient parts management system.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will be:

Compliance to Vestas' Health & safety, Quality, Operational procedures
Engage with and live by Vestas values
Control the receiving and dispatching of materials from the SOV
Maintaining stock inventory of spares and tools, through periodic & annual stock counting
Coordinate the testing of all site tooling, PPE, lifting & calibrated equipment
Control and manage the processing of quarantined materials
Ordering of consumable items from local vendors

Qualifications

Experience with warehousing, logistics and stock management in an offshore operational environment
A willingness to travel and work across various sites when required, in support of business needs
Equally important is to be mature, reliable, and hardworking, with an ability to adapt to ever changing situations.
We expect you to have good problemsolving skills and an ability to be a team player who positively seeks help

Competencies

We expect that you:

Strong IT skills (preferred: SAP, Dynamics, Oracle, Word, Excel, Outlook)
Full driver's license, ideally with Forklift Truck
Planning & Coordination experience
Good time management
Accountable person who takes responsibility for actions
Good communicator and able to proactively collaborate with colleagues
Problem solver who will positively seek support
