Full Time**Eclypse recruitment are currently recruiting for a Scrub Nurse/ ODP for a small Hospital in Doncaster, South Yorkshire who work with the UK's leading consultants to provide a full range of healthcare services including: Cosmetic surgery, Orthopaedic, ENT,and General Surgery.

The Role:
To act as Scrub/ Recovery Practitioner RGN/ODP in surgical procedures within the Operating Theatre. The post holder will provide high standard nursing care for patients within the Operating Department.

My client is looking for a Scrub Nurse/ ODP with Orthopaedic experience to join their busy theatre. You will need to be a qualified RGN or ODP IDEALLY with experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a scrubbed member of the nursing team, carrying out safety checks of swabs, instruments and needles in conjunction with a second person and immediately reporting any discrepancies to the Surgeon and Nurse In Charge.
Assisting with other members of the team in the preparation and clearing of Theatres.
Assisting with the labelling and despatch of the theatre specimens.
Reporting to the Nurse in Charge, incidents, accidents, and complaints, defects in drugs supplies or equipment.
Assisting in the compiling of the operations register. Maintain accurate patient documentation.
To use the correct procedure when handing a patient into the care of another nurse, giving the correct information and instruction.
To provide assistance to the Anaesthetist and Surgeon.
