Position Summary
We are currently looking to recruit a Quality Lead to join our quality assurance team in Bromborough.

A day in the life of a Quality Lead


Reporting directly to the Factory Quality Manager you will provide support to produce safe, compliant and First Time Right products and minimise losses through shop floor presence, coaching and verification.

You will provide effective leadership to 4 direct reports within the quality assurance team.


Further duties and responsibilities include:

  • Ensure quality measures are reported and actions are taken to drive improvement.
  • Ensure GMP is maintained at the required standard for the area
  • Carry out continuous improvement activities using EDPS (Every Day Problem Solving).
  • Contribute to the development of quality competence.
  • Ensure the successful management of quality incidents to minimise negative impact to the business.
  • Work Closely with R&D team to ensure successful implementation of factory trials / new recipe formulations / new NPD or packaging into the factory.
  • Carry out root cause analysis related to incidents and ensure corrective actions are closed out.

What will make you successful?

  • A science related degree (or equivalent) qualification desirable.
  • Experience within an environment committed to continuous improvement and NCE techniques.
  • Experience in successfully implementing quality assurance programmes.
  • Leadership and people development skills.
  • Knowledge of Nestlé Quality Management System and FSMS (food safety).
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, products and their norms.
  • Good knowledge of NCE processes, methods and tools.
