Bookkeeper
Up to £32K DOE

Puro Accountancy are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join a well-established accountancy practice based in Hertfordshire.

Responsibilities:

Maintaining accurate financial records and preparing accounts up to trial balance for a portfolio of clients
Performing bank reconciliations and processing payments
Processing invoices & sales and purchase ledgers using cloud accounting softwares
Producing and submitting VAT returns
Assisting clients with any queries
Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients
General admin duties

Requirements:

At least 2 years' experience working in a UK accountancy practice environment
Must have previous bookkeeping experience
Experience working with entertainment clients is desirable but not essential
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients
Have experience with a variety of software's
A strong attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines
