Description

We are currently recruiting for 2x HR Advisers to work within the local authority. This role is temporary ongoing with a minimum contract of 30 months.

THE ROLE

Support in the analysis of the outcome of the market testing exercise to determine whether the Council's pay framework is competitive and support in the development of a revised framework.
Support in the development of internal communications and ensure accurate minute take and record keeping of all job redesign discussions, job evaluation reviews, meeting with stakeholders and trade union reps etc.
Working closely with senior management and leadership teams across all services to ensure accurate collection and analysis of job information in order to update all job descriptions, ensuring they accurately reflect the responsibilities of each role.
Building trusted relationships with senior management to provide comprehensive and effective advice on all aspects of the job evaluation process and the development of pay frameworks and ensure that solutions are designed and tailored to meet the needs of the Council.
Working in partnership with the trade unions to review and update all aspects of the current job evaluation scheme, ensuring the Council's scheme is up to date and reflects the current NJC Green Book Job Evaluation scheme at all times.
Updating and maintaining information systems to ensure data collated is accurate and uptodate and statistical reports and analysis of job evaluation information is produced and shared as appropriate.
Support in the development of proposals for a revised pay and grading framework that is future proofed and meets the needs of the Council, working closely with senior management and leadership teams to identify and address the HR implications of the revised frameworks.

THE PERSON

You must be qualified to degree level or have equivalent relevant experience. Applicants must have CIPD Chartered Member status or equivalent experience.
GCSE's grades A-C or equivalent in English and Maths.
Must have previous or similar experience
