This is an exciting opportunity to join Edelman's marketing function, which builds and maintains the Edelman brand and reputation, to help drive growth.

You will work as part of the EMEA based team who develop and execute the marketing and communications strategy for the firm across the region.


  • The Marketing function works across a range of crosssector programmes, IP and employee engagement initiatives, creating a pipeline of content that brings recognition to Edelman and attracts the best talent, and best clients.
  • In this role, the Associate Director Employee Engagement & Employer Brand will lead and drive the development and execution of a measurable employee engagement and employer brand strategy that retains and attracts world
- class talent. You will work across the entire business and in tandem with our People, Recruitment, and DEI teams to develop initiatives that engages employees and promote Edelman's employer brand in the talent marketplace. You will also be a strong communicator that is adept in translating business strategy into inspiring communications, content and campaigns that excite employees and talent.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Work in partnership with the People Team to bring to life Edelman's EVP through an employer brand proposition that showcases Edelman's work, talent, culture and values to position Edelman as a destination for top talent to both internal and external audiences.
  • Lead and create the design and implementation of impactful external and internal campaigns that promote Edelman as an employer of choice in the communications, marketing and advertising industry
  • Develop an employee marketing strategy that engages talent from new sectors and industries aligned to Edelman's growth priorities.
  • Lead on the development and execution of internal communication programmes in the region to support bringing to life the business strategy and priorities inc written comms, Townhalls, and allemployee inspiration sessions etc.
  • Work in tandem with the broader marketing team to tell the story of Edelman's values and culture through a variety of written, video and visual content that work across multiple platforms to reach a broad and diverse audience.
  • Collaborate with Edelman's recruitment team to drive successful and measurable talent marketing campaigns
  • Work in partnership with the People team to engage and equip leadership and employees with tools and messaging to be Edelman ambassadors and participate in the firm's employer brand efforts
  • Use competitor and market insights to measure ROI and success of employer brand campaigns through data and report on results

Key Requirements:


  • Significant experience in a similar role with experience in developing and leading employer brand and employee engagement activity
  • Demonstrable experience in developing impactful internal communication campaigns
  • An excellent communicator with brilliant written skills able to write for different audiences and on behalf of leadership
  • Galvanising, energetic and dynamic leadership
  • Strong understanding of the talent landscape and demonstrable experience in engaging talent across multiple channels
  • Experience in developing content that engages talent across Edelman's broad range of teams, sectors and industries
  • Proven ability to engage and manage senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrable knowledge of current affairs, trends and industry topics
  • Friendly, approachable manner with a flexible attitude to work, with the ability to build relationships collaboratively across the business at all levels
  • A keen eye for detail and aesthetic
  • Ability to use own initiative whilst working to tight deadlines in a demanding, highpaced environment
