Role Summary

  • Development of creative proposals to meet client briefs for exhibition, event and interior spaces
  • Completion of design intent working drawings for the manufacture of successful proposals as above
  • Completion of graphics layout and design as required for successful proposals as above
  • Creative management of project and graphic delivery of successful proposals as above
  • Client service management as part of the project team for successful proposals as above
Qualifications required

Key skills required

  • Technical drawing skills and IT skills, particularly computeraided design
  • Creativity and imagination
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Communication and teamworking skills
  • A flexible and hands on working approach
  • A willingness to learn new software when required that will assist the design/drawings and graphics team

Responsibilities:


  • Consulting clients about design requirements
  • Collecting appropriate background and product information
  • Clarifying design issues
  • Producing sketches and threedimensional computergenerated images with Sketchup/3D Studio Max
  • Creating production drawings using AutoCAD to ensure that projects have proper written specifications and keep within budget
  • Using a variety of media (especially IT and computeraided design) to generate solutions
  • Delivering final work to account handlers and clients for review using Adobe software, sketches and sample boards
  • Maintaining awareness of current creative trends and influences
  • Replying to queries from clients
  • Travelling to the exhibition builds and overseeing installations and providing assistance with installing graphics
  • Assisting in the production of graphics and finishing
  • 2D drawings elevations to assist graphics team with initial set up of graphics proofs
  • Attend on site events to develop awareness and assistance with Project Management
Other

  • Ensure all time usage and teams is recorded to the correct projects
  • Attend meetings with internal and external stakeholders as required
  • Any other duties as required

Salary:
£25,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
