This organisation is a true global giant within their sector, and they are now expanding their finance team with a newly created Technical Accounting Lead, requiring an astute financial expert to take ownership of the group reporting function.

This is a rare opportunity to join a household name organisation at a senior level.

You'll play a key role within the business, reporting directly into the Head of UK Financial Reporting & Technical Compliance.

You will be relied upon for your technicalexpertise providing detailed advice to the various Financial Controllers and Business Partners across the company, as well are delivering detailed financial reports to the senior management team.


You'll play a significant role in the management, and implementation of new accounting standards, ensuring the organisation is at the forefront of the latest financial standards and technical compliance within the industry.

You will oversee, review and presentquarterly and annual reports, identify and implement process improvements, provide key information to the internal and external auditors, as well as reviewing the annual statutory accounts in preparation for board approval and the group annual report.


You will have to have advanced knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) and be accustomed to presenting highly complex financial information to senior management.

We're ideally looking for someone who was trained within a top tier AccountancyPractice, but this is not essential, however you will have to have an ACA or ACCA qualification and solid experience working for a large international organisation in a senior technical accounting position.
