Kite Packaging have a brilliant opportunity for a Commercial Assistant person to join their internal team in Portsmouth. Kite Packaging was founded in 2001 with a unique vision and a philosophy of employee-ownership.

You will be joining a fast paced environment dedicated to excellent customer service and operational efficiency. These teams are key to our service led offering, and you will be offering support to all the divisions.

This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate who has a passion for providing first class customer experience and driving continuous improvement.

The role of Commercial Support:

The role will specifically cover the following areas:

Support for all internal areas of the business
Customer Service, Purchasing & Supply Chain Warehouse
Your time will be split between functions depending on where the resource is required.
You will be expected to problem solve and resolve issues
You will be expected to innovate and work on continuous improvement

Key Skills and Essential Experience:

23 years experience in an office environment after graduating from university with at least a 2:1 degree or equivalent
A strong analytical background
Customer facing presence
A drive for excellence
The ability to prioritise clearly
The ability to multitask and think on your feet.
An understanding of what makes people tick. You will need to be able to build relationships and be able to convey your ideas clearly.
An understanding of how to make longterm profit and be able to spot the opportunities that others miss.
