Would you like to support Fusion research by supporting the UKAEA computing division, We are recruiting a Sharepoint specialist to asssit with various Sharepoint sites, to various divisions of research.
SummaryThe CODAS & IT Department is responsible for the design, implementation,
testing, operation, and maintenance of the UKAEA's site-wide IT
infrastructure and systems.
As the SharePoint Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical
support for the SharePoint Online environment and understanding business
and customer requirements.
You will assist with providing solutions to the business in SharePoint Online
including the associated file structure, metadata, workflow, and appropriate
access controls, adhering to Microsoft and industry best practices and
standards.
You will provide second line support for SharePoint Online and Office 365
related requests. You will resolve customer complaints and respond to
suggestions for improvement and enhancement.
You will assist with user engagement and adoption of new SharePoint Online
plans.
With a broad and detailed experience of SharePoint Online and Office 365
this role is essential to the Windows Systems team in managing, configuring,
and running SharePoint sites.
- Accountabilities:
- Liaise with business users to gather requirements, prepare
- Provide SharePoint administration and technical support for Microsoft
SLAs in the ITSM system.
- Manage and maintain site content and structure settings, site hierarchy,
- Manage SharePoint Online user permissions and site sharing (internal
- Create, update, and check the validity and accuracy of any
- Evaluate and initiate SharePoint Online solutions which innovate on
- Work with SharePoint developers to define information architecture and

- Qualifications: The following qualifications or equivalent experience:
- Excellent IT skills, preferably with Microsoft certification such as:
- Microsoft 365 Certified Fundamentals (MS900)
- Deploying Microsoft 365 Teamwork (MS300)
- Experience Required:
- Experience of developing and running SharePoint sites, ideally with
- Able to gather user requirements and translate into technical solutions.
- Ability to convey proposed solutions and complex information clearly,
- Experience of IT Service Management, preferably ITIL accredited (or
