Social Media & Public Relations Lead

    Your Role Purpose
  • We have an exciting opening for a talented, multiskilled communicator to join our Marketing team at Milk & More, taking the lead for our Social Media and Public Relations. Working with members of the Marketing team, external agencies, and internal staff you will deliver and manage the Business's social media, digital platforms and public relations
    Your Role Structure

This role will report to the lead of Customer Aquistion and Events

Your Key Deliverables

  • Ownership of the social media calendar and implementation of this calendar in line with the marketing plan and business goals to maximum ROI
  • Develop a comprehensive social media strategy with associated budget with the aim of increasing brand awareness, building our online community and attracting new audiences
  • Work alongside our digital marketing agency to develop a campaign advertising strategy and calendar in line with marketing objectives
  • Create captivating content across the organisations social media sites to include motion graphic content for stories, longform and short form video content, TikTok videos and Instagram reels, filming and photoshoots of various events, crafting social media graphics. May also include writing blogs, articles and further multimedia content
  • Take accountability for designing, delivering and developing the brand PR strategy in collaboration with our preferred PR agency, including finding opportunities to tell the story of our brand, growth & journey
  • Analysing the longterm needs of the company's social media strategy and offering monthly reports to the management and executive teams, outlining any necessary changes to the overall digital marketing plan
  • Staying uptodate with the latest social media trends and digital technologies and recommend changes to our strategy as required
  • Developing monthly reports on emerging social media trends, competitor analysis and consumer insights that will be submitted to the management and executive teams
  • Developing and overseeing competitions, brand partnerships and campaigns to draw attention to a brand
  • Setting measurable goals for campaigns, measuring and showing the Return on Investment (ROI)
  • Monitoring and responding to customer feedback, comments and social media posts
  • Liaising with other departments and creatives to create a holistic and effective online marketing strategy link to employment brand
  • Collaborate with suppliers ensuring relevant content is shared across social media channels to increase exposure and reach

Your Experience & Background

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent ideally in Marketing, Digital Communications, Digital Marketing, Social Media, PR or Journalism
  • Evidence of Continuous Professional Development
  • Experience of working within a social media, public relations, content marketing, journalistic role (ideally 2+ years)
  • Experience creating content on social channels such as Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok and Linkedin
  • Experience with creating content through use of Adobe or equivalent including
  • Experience of managing/contributing social media accounts for marketing
  • Experience with social media marketing platforms e.g. Social Sprout, Facebook Ad Manager, Hootsuite or similar.
  • Experience of running successful social media campaigns across a range of platforms
  • Experience of supporting integrated marketing campaigns

  • An excellent understanding of social media and digital platforms
  • Flexible and quick to adapt to new and changing circumstances
  • Able to work alone, with mínimal supervision
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership for projects and workstreams.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, unstructured environment on complex projects.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Curious, commercially minded and customercentric.
  • Strong communication skills.
