Audit and Accounts Senior

Burnley

Up to £40,000

Butler Rose are pleased to be partnered with a fantastic firm of accountants who are currently sitting within the top 20 UK firms.

This firm are looking for an experienced Audit & Accounts Senior to join their growing Audit team in their new Burnley office.

Duties:

Predominantly the completion of audit fieldwork, normally on site at client premises.
The Senior will also prepare statutory financial statements from client data, for a varied mix of clients
SMEs/owner managed businesses.
Will be expected to independently run audits.
Will also have the opportunity to take a more leading role to support more junior members of the team.
These roles are probably best suited to someone who is looking for the same mix/type of clients as the other firms in Manchester but without the big city environment/commute.
Somebody who is looking to join at a pivotal time for this team and to hit the ground running with a strong portfolio and busy but fair workload.
ACA or ACCA Qualified
Ideally 23 years post qual
Able to independently run audits

You will be based at the new Burnley office, which retains its local office feel and culture, but offers the benefits and opportunities of a larger firm.
You will work alongside a varied client based, who operate across sectors including manufacturing, online retail, sport and professional services, with turnovers ranging from £100k £100m+
Your time will be spent in the office and based at client premises.
Happy to discuss the opportunity to work from home at certain times, if this is desirable.
The office is in a prime location for commuting by car from Lancashire and North Manchester, and offer free onsite parking.
