Book Keeper


TACP (UK) Ltd is recruiting a Part-time Book Keeper for our busy practice located in the vibrant centre of Cardiff.


Our multi-disciplinary team has a varied and interesting portfolio of major highway, active travel, public realm, schools, renewable energy, ecology, conservation and development projects in both the public and private sectors.

Our current workload includes infrastructure and development projects throughout Wales,


Worcestershire, Somerset, Devon and Cornwall, and a range of smaller scale projects such as project evaluations, natural resources management, landscape appraisal, interpretation and wildlife conservation.


We are looking for someone to provide a key contribution to the ongoing development of the practice and its staff.


Essential skills and responsibilities include:

Responsibilities:


  • To ensure the accurate recording of invoices
  • Credit card and bank statement reconciliation
  • Debt Control chasing outstanding invoices
  • Making payments as required
  • Mentoring and instructing our administration assistant

Qualifications:


  • At least 3 years experience as a book keeper
  • AAT level 2 or above or equivalent book keeping qualifications
  • Good working knowledge of Sage 50 accounting software an advantage
Qualities

  • Friendly and supportive
  • Able to give clear instructions
  • Accurate with attention to detail
The role will be for 2 days a week or equivalent based at our newly refurbished office in the centre of Cardiff
