Office Manager - Permanent (Full time)


Salary: 35k-45k Per Annum

Our client based in Brighton are seeking a Office Manager to join their small enterprise on a Permanent basis.

They are a very small set up based on the university site on the outskirts of Brighton, office hours are 9am-6pm Monday-Friday with free parkingon site and on major bus routes.

The role will predominantly be working with their one Director to oversee all back-office administration and help him keep on top of processes while he is running the business.

The other staff members will involve part timeteam members and students but you will be the only two full time office members of staff.

The role is very independent in nature because of its size - you may often be the only person in the office, and you will work alongside the director and run your daysaccordingly.

The role would suit someone experienced in all areas of administrative processes but who suits working alone and flexibly.


Duties:


  • Overseeing the entire administrative function of a small enterprise
  • You will provide direct support to the Director
  • Communicating key information clearly to the Director so can be acted on in a timely manner
  • Using multiple systems to update, invoice, add orders etc
  • Organise files online and overhaul the administrative processes in place
  • Deliver and report on monthly performance reviews for the team
  • Carry out bank reconciliation's and expense allocations training provided on this
  • Chase suppliers and payments if required

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Excellent written and spoken communication
  • Strong verbal and written English
  • Adaptability to meet ever changing demands of business
  • A passion for organisation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite particularly using Excel
  • Aptitude to pick up new systems quickly as use multiple packages
  • Takes responsibility for own workload and has ability to prioritise
  • Willingness to be flexible and help out where needed in other areas of the business
