Who are we / what will you do?

We are the Clinical Governance Team and within your role you will be aligned to the patient safety workstream. This team is responsible for the monitoring of all the clinical incidents reported within the Trust.

Where harm has occurred, you will support the team to arrange reviews of these incidents, working closely with the three business units to coordinate, set up and plan the meetings.

This may take the form of face to face, telephony based and electronic contact with service users and other stakeholders, both external and internal to LCH.

The team is also responsible for any safety alerts that we receive, and you will upload these to our central system - Datix, alerting the relevant people and tracking responses.

You will also act as a single point of contact for the team, providing signposting on where needed, triaging the safety tam inbox and escalating any concerns.
