is seeking to appoint a
TEACHING ASSISTANT
15 hours per week / 39 weeks per year
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday 12pm - 3pm
including the additional duties of a Midday Supervisor

About You
- teaching assistant qualification and/or proven experience of working with children in a school setting.
experience of working with children with challenging behaviour
- experience in working with children who have special education needs
- good English and maths skills (GCSE or equivalent advisable)
- ability to use IT equipment and computer programmes
- be able to transition and track pupil progress through intervention
- the willingness to undertake further training and development
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- Is enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children's life chances through education
- Is highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload
- Can work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils
- Has a 'cando' attitude and has the ability to use their initiative
- Can work flexibly and professionally
About Role
We are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to join our team, working 15 hours per week, 39 weeks per year with the working hours required being 12pm to 3pm, Monday to Friday.
