About the role*:

BigHand is looking for a Product Marketing Executive to help drive the next phase of growth for our business.


Reporting into the Head of Product Marketing, the Product Marketing Executive will work closely with the Commercial Product Managers and Product Owners within our Document Productivity business to ensure marketing is contributing and delivering value at every stage of the product development process for these products.

This role also presents an exciting opportunity to support BigHand's expansion into new verticals across our wider product offering.


Due to the highly cross-functional nature of product marketing, this role will also work regularly with teams across the wider business including product, marketing, sales, solutions and customer success.


What you'll do***:


  • To bring current and new solutions & features to market and contribute to the ongoing product strategy
  • Work closely with the product managers and owners to create and evolve value propositions for each product
  • Build competitor and market analysis with continuous monitoring & updating
  • Build, understand & update ICPs (Ideal customer profiles) for both buyers and users of the products
  • Develop compelling audience messaging and content for each product/audience
  • Develop and manage product launch activities and launch strategies
  • Help the wider business to understand the requirements, challenges and language used for each product
  • Work with the revenue operations teams to create and enhance sales enablement materials
  • Work with teams across the business to ensure product enhancements are communicated effectively, both internally and externally
  • Manage and keep buyer and user personas uptodate
  • Create the gotomarket positioning for product enhancements
  • Plan and manage product endoflife communications
  • Be an expert on TAM & SAM for your products/verticals and how this should influence our wider marketing strategy
  • Work with the wider marketing team to support lead generation activities for your products

What we're looking for:


  • Previous experience within a B2B marketing role, ideally with experience working in a product marketingfocused role
  • Experience of developing and implementing successful go to market strategies and launches for new products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience of message development
  • A capable leader, with the presence and ability to communicate, motivate and influence at the highest level
  • An understanding of the importance of digital marketing activities as part of the marketing mix
  • Experience of using a marketing automation tool, such as Pardot, for a targeted and personalised approach, delivering successful results
  • Strong project management skills and a familiarity with agile marketing practices
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on the customer
  • Experience analysing and distilling data into actionable insights to inform product marketing activities
  • Experience with crossfunctional stakeholder management
