Vehicle and Plant Mechanic

Leicester City Council are looking for an experienced Plant and Vehicle Mechanic to join them.


Working out of their Croft, south Leicestershire site the position is to service and repair Heavy/Light vehicles and construction plant.

Experience of working in a fleet workshop or garage together with a vehicle technician qualification is required. You will also be required to drive and manoeuvre various vehicles around the site.


Qualifications required:

  • City and Guilds Technical qualification or similar
  • MOT Test certificate
  • HGV licence, or able to train to complete your licence
Working days, but you may be required to work some weekends.


Pay rate:
£14.43 per hour
