Description
We're searching for an experienced Mobile Crane Fleet Maintenance Director.

As our Mobile Crane Fleet Maintenance Director you'll be responsible for ensuring all equipment is kept in good operating conditions and the servicing schedule is maintained to a high standard Regularly reporting to the Managing Director and QSHET & Operations Director fleet performance statistics.


Your job as a
Mobile Crane Fleet Maintenance Director in a nutshell:

Creating and communicating actionable business plans to maintain a high standard of fleet maintenance, and have a working knowledge of company policy and procedures.


Developing and optimising the necessary work structures, processes and policies, controlling the implementation of it and organising corrective measures if needed.

Day-to-day management and ad hoc problem solving. Ensure a safe system of work for service and maintenance.

Ensure working practices meet the requirements of relevant legislation. Ensure all cranes are serviced and maintained as per manufacturers' recommendations. Ensure all cranes are safety inspected as per company procedures.


Keeping the equipment in excellent condition (technically and aesthetically) through a structured and professional approach of preventive and predictive maintenance and quick and qualitative repairs.

Checking that the necessary documentation and certification is also in order.

Responsible for co-ordinating fitters, to complete service and maintenance schedules. Liaise with the depot managers to ensure all vehicles are serviced and maintained, to schedule.


Preparing and setting up the annual budget for the fleet department and financial follow-up afterwards, Liaise with manufacturers re: parts for servicing, repairs, other requirements and source equipment and spares from suppliers.

Ensuring and motivating everyone to work safely and according to the Baldwins QSHET standards.


Managing, motivating and coaching the coworkers of the entire fleet, recruiting and improving training of all crane maintenance fitters, liaising with training manager to ensure staff are trained.

Checking regularly the satisfactions of employees, internal and external stakeholders, as well as the quality of equipment. Using this information to define and execute action plans to improve the organisation on a continuous basis.

Salary:
£40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
