The Best Connection are currently seeking
Hatchery Operatives /
Production Operatives to be part of a special team in a Hatchery near
Thirsk.

The positions are to start mid August for approximately 3 months. Immediate interviews available.

Experience working with livestock is preferable, however
full training will be given.
You will have the ability to be flexible with working hours and work in a team environment.
Must have own transport due to location.

The role Includes:

Assisting in the effective movement of eggs from storage to incubating machines and then to hatching machines.
Ensuring young Turkeys are sorted into the required grades and quantities, ready for farm delivery.
Cleaning all areas and equipment after use to the required high standards.

Key responsibilities:

Strictly following Health & Safety and Bird Welfare legislative standard.
Adhering to security and site safety rules whilst wearing the correct PPE

Hours of work:

38 Core hours

Pay Rates:
- £12.50 per hour basic rate for first 38 hours worked
- £18.75 per hour overtime after first 38 core hours worked
