Job Overview:

As a Production Team Leader/Supervisor within the Operations Team, you will be responsible for managing operations staff with the overall responsibility to achieve production targets set by the Operations Manager.

You will have great leadership skills and able to work effectively as part of a team and must be able to follow H&S policies, work as part of a team to always achieve high standard of quality output.

Main Duties:

Proactively manage the Operations team to meet targets.
Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met.
Working with the Operations manager and purchasing manager to ensure the smooth running of the business.
Managing process and material flows.

Essential Criteria:

Have at least 3 years' experience in manufacturing, construction or similar role
Excellent verbal communication skills when dealing with the workforce, suppliers and clients.
Implement/display high quality standards in all aspects of the role.
Good organisational and time management skills and a high attention to detail
Problem solving abilities.
A good attitude to taking direction and experience working as part of a team.

Desirable Criteria:

A good understanding of other trades i.e. joinery, plumbing and tiling.
Competent in the use of workshop machinery and all power tools
