MIG Welder
MIG Welder required for our client based in Melbourne, Derbyshire. Our client manages one of the UK's leading fabrication & production companies.

Hour & Shift Pattern
The role will be Monday to Friday 07:30am - 17:00pm and this is an ongoing position all year round.

Requirements:

To be considered applicants must have previous experience working as a MIG Welder and willing to carry out test welds at interview stage.

£13.25 per hour

Experience:

MIG welding: 1 year (required)We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team. Mechanical knowledge and the ability to rig and use plasma cutting equipment is also required. Familiarity with schematics, codes, and standards is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
Use welding techniques to fabricate metal components based on specifications
Operate press brake machines, forklifts, plasma cutting equipment, and other tools as needed
Assemble ductwork according to design specifications
Rig components for lifting and installation
Ensure that all work meets quality standardsExperience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in MIG welding
Experience with press brake machines, forklifts, plasma cutting equipment, and other tools
Knowledge of mechanical systems and the ability to read schematics
Familiarity with codes and standardsBenefits:
