Communication and key working relationships:

Work in partnership with others to champion safe, equitable, non-discriminatory person-centred care and support for individuals Uses positive interpersonal skills to work to achieve effective partnership working with multi-disciplinary colleagues Promote and maintain the principles of a duty of care, safeguarding and protection, always acting in the best interest of individuals and working across organisations and with other agencies to ensure they do not come to harm Communicate with individuals, their families, carers and health and care professionals using techniques designed to maximise understanding Uphold the principles of duty of candour, identifying and managing challenging situations, unsafe work practices and addressing comments, compliments, conflict and complaints in accordance with scope of practice and identifying when such issues should be escalated Recognise and respond to limitations in an individuals mental capacity Treat people with dignity and respect Demonstrate respect and empathy for others You MUST meet the apprenticeship enrolment criteria and be a UK resident for at least 3 years.
