FACTORY OPERATIVE

Job Title:
Manufacturing line operative - within Sectional Core/ Conventional core

Shift 06:00-14:00 (38 hours/week)

Reporting To:

MANUFACTURING MANAGER

Responsible for/Duties (full training will be given):

Working in a fast-paced manual environment, the role is to process cores (radiators) through the manufacturing production line with regards to Bearward's procedures and specifications in accordance with Company standards, specifically;
Assemble components onto jig as required, using sash clamps to compress product
Working at heights using platform
Operating lifting equipment
Checking quality of the product during the process
Maintaining a good standard of housekeeping
PPE supplied; safety glasses, ear protection, overalls, gloves, safety boots (and visors where relevant)

Person Specification

Key Skills, Competencies and Personal Attributes:
Ability to work to tight deadlines

Ability to follow processes, especially health and safety/manual handling

Willingness to work flexibly

Good communication skills

Practical, hands on person

Manufacturing background desirable but not essential
