x 2 Maintenance People Needed

A temp to perm role with a fantastic company who go above and beyond for their employees and offer great opportunities to progress further within your career with them.

Our client is looking to recruit a 2 x Maintenance people to join their Accommodation department in their Ampthill, Bedford Depot.

This role will suit someone who can drive due to location.

Our client hires out office accommodation units which when they come back to site they need to be repaired and maintained if needed ready to be rehired back out.

You will be responsible for replenishing items and any general maintenance and refurbishment of our accommodation units including moving furniture, building steps, walls, minor plumbing duties.

You may occasional be tasked with wiping down walls and sweeping and mopping out the units.

Must be able to drive due to location

Pay:
£11.15 per hour

Shifts:
Monday - Friday 45 hours (plenty of overtime also at time and half)

Weekly Pay
You roles will also include the below so you must be flexible.

Prepping units internally /external
General yard cleaning
They also build canteens and partition walls.
Spray our units externally
Build stairs and steps

Once permanent the client would train he / she to do electrical training and forklifting if they would like to.

Plus a lot more courses to improve/ progress further should the person wish to.

Job requirements:

You will have a basic knowledge in joinery, plumbing and electrics and have worked in a similar role or environment previously.
You must be aware of and adhere to health and safety at all times.
You will need excellent verbal and written communication skills
You must be a team player
