Your new role as Bookkeeper
Support and advise the Finance Committee to develop and implement good financial practice

Provide clear guidance on budgeting and project costing

Preparation of monthly management accounts

Budgeting, cashflow statements, trail balance and year-end accounts

Posting invoices, processing receipts

Bank reconciliations, balancing petty cash, journal posting

Preparing and posting pre-payment, accrued income, accruals, and deferred income

Dealing with financial paperwork and filing

Producing as-hoc financial and statistical reports

The Experience & Qualifications Required:

Experience within an accounts function

Charity accounts experience (desirable)

Microsoft Office and accounting software experience

Willingness to learn and develop

Excellent time management and organisational skills

Excellent oral and write communication skills

Your Reward & The Package On Offer:
The salary on offer is up to £25,000 (FTE)

Other benefits:
21 hours per week

27 days annual leave entitlement to start + 8 Bank Holidays (pro rata for PT)

2 Additional leave days during Christmas and New year period

Flexible / Hybrid working
