Description

The role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Mental health outreach team for a community engagement worker.

In this role you will be responsible for leading, coordinating and further developing our well established Creative remedies arts and wellbeing programme which aims to assist people to develop skills and confidence in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.

You will be responsible for working closely with a variety of community partners including culture Warrington, WBC Public health and CGL pathways.


You will need an interest in the arts and experience in delivering community based groups to people with mental illness and/or addictions.

You will require excellent communication and organisational skills and will need to develop therapeutic relationships with a wide range of clients.

A working knowledge of existing local services and partners will be an advantage.

This is a full time 37 hour post which comes with a generous essential car users allowance. Generally hours are Monday-Friday 9-5 but there is an expectation that you will work outside these hours as required.
