College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine / Clinical Sciences / Institute for Regeneration and Repair / Centre for Inflammation Research.

Open Ended - Permanent: Full-Time - 35 Hours Per Week.


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Administrator within the Institute for Regeneration and Repair (IRR) at the University of Edinburgh to provide wide-ranging, professional, effective and efficient administrative support for IRR finance operational areas.


This post will have responsibility for the support of institute members in their use of the university people and money system to procure goods and services.

Providing advice to resolve problems and conducting financial reconciliations for fund holders.

The post holder will raise invoices for the institute and coordinate local initiatives to ensure timely receipt and payment processes.

The staff member will be part of a collaborative finance team within the institute covering three academic research centres and additional speciality research units.

This particular post will provide administration support for the Centre for Inflammation Research.

The post will be based in a busy and vibrant support office with a collaborative approach to working in combination with an independence for the post-holder to prioritise their own workload on a daily basis.

This post is open-ended, based at the BioQuarter campus in South East Edinburgh and available to start at the earliest convenience of the applicant.
