Salary:
£40,000 - £60,000 per annum

Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Site Agent on behalf of one of our clients.

The Site Agent will be responsible for overseeing all activities and staff to ensure that procurement, financial control and site activities are managed to the highest standards in all areas of delivery.


Duties and Responsibilities of a Site Agent:

  • Ensure the commercial performance of the contract is maximised.
  • Assume overall responsibility for the successful delivery of projects.
  • Deliver the work safely and without environmental incidents.
  • Deliver the work to the specified quality without defects.
  • Ensure production and implementation of Project Plans and waste management plans, in line with Company procedures.
  • Produce and manage the project programme.
  • Undertake an ambassadorial role representing the business to customers, public and official bodies.
  • Deliver end product to customer satisfaction.
  • Maximise project value.
  • Ensure detailed site diaries/records are completed.
  • Endeavour to spot and highlight value engineering opportunities.
  • Produce good quality, accurate monthly reports for the Client and internally.
  • Monthly and weekly reporting timescales are met.

Skills and Qualifications:


  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years experience in Civil Engineering.
  • Working knowledge of NEC contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme and Risk Management and cost control including forecasting, actual cost and value reporting.
  • Good knowledge of specifications and testing regime relevant to general civil engineering.
  • CSR card.
