Quality Officer - Permanent - Telford

L & C Consulting are recruiting for a well-established, financially secure & growing manufacturing company in Telford for a new Quality Officer / Quality Engineer / Quality Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

To be considered for this excellent opportunity, you MUST have worked in a similar role and will be able to demonstrate a stable, consistent work history.

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

Machine Calibration
Updating and maintaining SOPs
Working closely with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met
Waste reduction
BSI 9001 Audits
Training
Manging nonconformance reports

To be considered for this role, you'll ideally have worked in a manufacturing / engineering / fabrication environment. You will be used to working in a fast paced, pressured environment.

Experience with ISO9001:2015 is essential.

General hours of work are Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00.

You'll be well organised, punctual, reliable, and hard working.

Own transport is ideal, though the site is potentially commutable from most parts of Telford, Shrewsbury, Market Drayton, Wolverhampton, Shifnal, Ironbridge, Bridgnorth etc

Alternative job titles would include Quality Control, QC Engineer, QC, Quality Control Engineer, Quality Engineer, QI, Quality Inspector, Weld Check, Quality Controller etc
