Required as soon as possible.The post holder will, as part of a team, be responsible for the day to day security, safety, cleanliness and general maintenance of this large Academy site.
You will work a combination of earlies/lates and standard days.As part of that working pattern, you will have specific responsibility for opening in the morning and securing the Academy site in the evening and will often work alone after normal school hours.
Applicants should be able to work flexibly and be able to use initiative and prioritise tasks effectively.We are particularly keen to hear from all round "handy" individuals who can present a broad range of practical skills.
Experience of an education setting would be an advantage, but is not essential. However, you must be able to demonstrate an affinity for working with secondary age students. The successful applicant may be required to drive the Academy's minibuses on occasions._Fluency Duty_:
- In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post._
