We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking to be a Trainee Executive Assistant with the opportunity to gain long term employment with a growing Independent Training Provider.


Working Hours:


Monday**:
- **Friday 09:00 - 17:00


Reporting line:

Reporting directly to the Head of Business Improvement and Executive Board


Responsibilities

  • Support with all general Executive Board Administration tasks
  • Collating Board notes/minutes
  • Supporting plans to help streamline and improve business operations
  • Support on general admin, travel arrangements, diary management
  • Support of administration of meetings and company events
  • Keeping company data up to date
  • Providing all administration support to Head of Business Improvement and Executive Board
  • Process and project support where required
  • Participation in continuous improvement projects
  • Keeping wellorganised files and records of business activity
  • Keeping computer databases up to date
  • Interacting with internal colleagues either on the phone or in person
  • Following up on business communications
  • Learning about the company's mission and future opportunities to grow
  • Preparing documents by printing, copying as required
  • Writing and editing company correspondence
  • Scheduling appointments and events
  • Preparing meetings
  • Participating in relevant office meetings and taking meeting minutes
  • Being ready for any other administrative tasks that are required of the role

Essential Qualities

  • Reliable
  • Desire to train and develop in all areas of business administration as listed; ability to multitask.
  • Organised and selfmotivated
  • Professional Attitude & competence to work diligently.
  • Good attention span
  • Ability to commute to Business offices as and when required.
  • Holds a full UK Driving License

  • Excellent people skills
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Comply with GDPR, confidentiality and information governance at all times
You would also be working towards achieving a level 3 Business administrator apprenticeship.

The level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard includes:

  • Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA)
  • Own inhouse training

From £9.50 per hour
