Quality Inspector _

8.00am pm Monday - Friday

Reports To:

Quality Manager

Job Function/Purpose:

Quality Inspector

Principal Responsibilities:

Provide first off inspection of product
Carry out 100% inspection of critical parts
Creation of dimensional reports in accordance with customer or internal Requirements
Assist with calibration of all gauges as required
Assist with calibration and inspection records
Provide back up in Hardness testing / Part Marking
Provide guidance on thread fits and machining tolerances
Fulfil training programs deemed necessary to allow efficient performance of duties and assist in your personal development
To take a responsible approach to health, safety and environmental risks in relation to your own job role and to control the risks or report them to management as appropriate
Any other duties as required, commensurate with job position

Key Measures:

First off and critical parts Inspection
Dimensional reporting
Inspection/Calibration records
Provide back up and guidance

Salary:
From £10.00 per hour
dependant on experience

Hand sanitisers are freely available around the site and we encourage all visitors to use these. Social distancing is also still observed and masks can be worn if you so wish.
