Job summary:


  • Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC) are expanding their workforce and are in need of an organised and dedicated Dental Laboratory Assistant to join their friendly and hardworking team located in Aldershot.
  • The Defence Centre for Rehabilitative Dentistry (DCRD) provides specialist dental care for military patients referred with complex dental conditions.
  • The DCRD Laboratory is central to the dental rehabilitation of these injured military patients, working in close proximity to the clinical team and in daily contact with patients. We are a small team but produce tremendous outputs that change patients' lives.

  • You will provide technical and non
  • technical support, assisting in the provision of Dental Technical Delivery to the DPHC (Dental)

Person specification:


  • The design and construction of simple dental appliances to replace missing teeth and dental tissues.
  • Daily equipment checks.
  • The booking and management of the dental laboratory's technical workflow.
  • Stores and consumable materials management.
  • You will be responsible for your own personal and professional development and training and will maintain a portfolio recording your continuing professional education attendances including other training activities.
  • Complying with DPHC (Dental) Standing Operating Procedures, Dental Centre protocols, and Health and Safety Policy directives and guidance.

Selection process details:


  • This vacancy is using Success Profiles, and will assess your Behaviours and Experience.
  • If found successful for this position, you will be required to provide evidence of your immunity to Hepatitis B. Failure to provide evidence of your immunity may result in the offer of employment being withdrawn.
