We are now looking to recruit a Quality Assurance File Reviewer to the business to support the first line of defence as part of the operations team in London.


The successful applicant will be responsible for undertaking detailed audits of the business operations to ensure that the business meet their legal, regulatory and operational requirements.


Key tasks and responsibilities include:


  • Plan, organise and conduct risk based electronic/file audits of the business.
  • Load and maintain the data collected from the audits into the file audit database.
  • Analyse, interpret results and findings in order that trends can be identified and observations and recommendations identified.
  • To follow up recommendation in a timely manner and communicate to the business and operations team.
  • Provide coaching where required to associates to ensure issues identified are rectified.
  • Provide support and guidance to the business regarding compliance with best practice
  • Willingness and ability to continue to develop knowledge through formal and informal learning, both internal and external to the company.
  • An understanding of the relevant classes of business.
  • An understanding of insurer products and specialisms.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing with clients, insurers and other associates
  • Ability to manage time, prioritise and ensure that deadlines are met without compromising quality.
  • Ability build and maintain good business relationships with clients, insurers and associates.
  • An understanding of regulatory controls and procedures relating to both commercial and retail customers, if applicable
  • Specific auditing skills to include: meticulous/thorough, attention to detail, ability to question/challenge and ability to understand market practices and to test this compliance against group and regulatory requirements
