Network Manager

Pay rate up to £ p/h
% holiday pay:

Main location: Role is hybrid
2 days per week in Croft Depot.

Temporary contract for 6 months with potential of being extended

Our Client is looking for someone to provide an operational and strategic lead to the Network Management service, overseeing the functions and outcomes to ensure the service is being delivered to best effect and the efficient and effective operation.

Key responsibilities:

To ensure that the services are delivered for the benefit of the people of Leicestershire.
To maintain positive and cooperative working relationships with customers and colleagues within the team and across the service.
To ensure activities are delivered in the most efficient and effective manner as possible
Oversee the Assistant Network Manager to ensure Service protocols are established, measured, and are demonstrating both efficient and effective Service outcomes.

Required knowledge and skills:

Full Understanding of New Roads & Street Works Act (NRSWA)
Network Permitting understanding, use and implementation
Managing a team of individuals to ensure the department is compliant with regard to permitting legislation
Balancing management of 3rd party statutory undertakers (utility companies) and ensure they are working to standards expected
