We are currently looking for a Senior Design Engineer in Oxford.

Working hours:

As a Senior Design Engineer, you'll be required to work Monday to Friday

The successful Senior Design Engineer will be offered:

Salaries up to £50,000 (Experience-dependent)

As a Senior Design Engineer your role will involve:

Report to and take direction from Partner/Associate in the Civil and Structural engineering group
Manage multiple projects from inception to completion to ensure that deliverables are issued to the project programme, to the required quality standard and within the budget and time allocation set by the Partner/Associate
Act as lead or sole designer as appropriate to the size of the project
Exercise the skill, care and judgement to be expected of a senior engineer to ensure that:

To be considered for Senior Design Engineer the role you must have the following:

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
You should be chartered or working towards becoming a chartered member of the Institution of Civil Engineers or Institution of Structural Engineers
Significant design experience in building structures projects in the UK
Experience in leading a team including junior engineers and technicians
Competent and reliable designer in structural steelwork, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber
Proficient in the use of analysis and design software (TEDDS, SCIA, Tekla etc
