Description
An opportunity has arisen to join a busy, friendly team within the Linen & Post Services Department.

The successful applicant will be responsible for helping to provide a full delivery of linen and post items around the Trust.


The role will be Monday to Friday, however it will be expected that you will work some weekends on a rota.

This may vary due to the needs of the service. Our working hours are from 07:00 - 16:00 Weekdays and 07:30 -11:00 Weekends.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:


  • You will be topping up and delivering of linen and scrubs items to ward and non ward linen cupboards in and around the Trust.
  • You will collect the post from the local mail centre each morning.
  • You will be collecting and delivering of post to wards & departments around the Trust.
  • You will participate in the franking of mail in linen with the work schedule and rounds.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:


  • You will need a clean driving license.
  • You will need to be able to push/pull loaded roll cages or flatbed trolleys up to 180kgs.
  • You will need to be a customer focused individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure, and a desire to provide a first class service.
  • You will need to have the ability to interact and build a rapport with colleagues around the organisation and within the team.
