The Client:


Our client is a leading provider of Supportability Services specialising in delivering engineering and training services to industry, and commercial clients across the UK and Europe.

The Role:

They are seeking a skilled
Technical Officer to join their codification team. You will be extracting and interpreting
technical data from engineering drawings, specifications, catalogues, etc. This role primarily involves remote working, with occasional visits to company's offices.


Duties:


  • Confirm IoS identity, True Manufacturer, and Equipment Supplier references.
  • Screen references against UK CSIS and NSPA NATO Master Cross List for preexisting NSNs.
  • Identify NATO Commercial & Government Entity Codes (NCAGE).
  • Source data per Defcon 117 via manufacturer sites, catalogues, etc.
  • Submit eTasking requests to UK CSIS for NSN allocation.
  • Resolve NSN allocation issues, resolving queries from UK National Codification Bureau
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Familiarity with the NATO Supply and Classification System.
  • Proficiency in using company software like CSIS and NMCRL systems.
  • Skill in interpreting engineering drawings for AIN codes and NSC.

You will be required to undergo UK security clearance for this role. Must have the right to work in the UK and a continuous residence in the UK for the last 5+ years.
