Warehouse Operative / Order Picker Days

Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative Available for work? Then look no further


The Best Connection group are currently hiring for a Warehouse Operative for our client based in the Shirley, Solihull area.

The role will involve moving stock around the warehouse, picking using an RF scan gun and palletising goods. Long term opportunity with potential of perm placement following a successful trial period.


Warehouse Picking & Packing is required to be considered for the role

The duties of the role will involve:

  • Organising stock in the warehouse
  • Palletising deliveries and unwrapping pallets
  • Enforcing and adhering to health and safety requirements
  • Keeping check of stock levels
  • Using RF scanners to pick stock
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and multitask
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Working times:


  • 08:00 17:00 Monday to Friday (1 hour unpaid break)

Rates of pay:


  • Before April 1st 2024: £11.15 per hour
  • Post April 1st 2024: £12.26 per hour

Overtime:

- £16.73 (After weekly hours & weekends)
- £22.30 (Bank Holidays)


Benefits & Requirements:


  • Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
  • 28 days Paid Annual Leave prorata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
