Job Purpose and Overview


We have been working with our training providers for many years now to 'grow our own' apprentices, many of whom are still working here with us and continuing their development and progressing into new roles.

This role will be supported with a Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship (with potential for specialism in PA excellence).


Working as part of the Reception team you will be the first port of call for all employees or potential new employees visiting the Regent St offices, assisting with coordinating the employee experience.


You will provide support with tasks associated with creating a positive employee experience from the recruitment and onboarding of new employees to the ongoing activities for current employees.

This role will involve providing support to our support teams located at our Regent St office, including HR, IT, and Marketing.


Key tasks and Accountabilities
General

  • Organise meetings on behalf of the People & Operations Director/Operations & Development Director or HR & People Development Manager
  • Ensure regular meetings are always in the diary such as, but not limited to:
  • 1:1 meetings between People & Operations Director and CEO, Chairman, Operations & Development Director and Private Client Director
  • People & Operations Director, Operations & Development Director and CEO (at least quarterly). Attendance at Departmental Team meetings across the firm
  • Arranging training events and workshops
  • Organise firm wide training events and coordinate venue and invitations etc
  • Ensuring meeting rooms have the required equipment for the meetings/training being held
  • Welcome staff arriving at the office for a meeting or training
  • Taking client calls and dealing with incoming and outgoing post
  • Dealing with client queries from visitors into Reception
  • Ensure birthday cards and length of service gifts are delivered in a timely manner
HR Administration

  • Carry out recruitment checks, as part of onboarding new starters
IT Administration

  • Forwarding faxes received to the relevant case
  • Lender exchange administration
  • Linking LMS updates to the approriate case on the case management system
Internal Marketing / Communications Administration

  • Making arrangements for the fun things to do and nice treats across all offices
  • Helping to arrange and coordinate staff events

Salary and benefits

  • The salary for this role will be in line with goverment guidance
  • A starting annual leave entitlement of 31 days (including bank holidays) increasing by a further 2 weeks with service
  • Fulltime hours which are lower than many employers at 35 hours per week over Monday to Friday


This apprenticeship will take approximately 12 16 months to complete and you will need to take responsibility for completing your coursework on time.

You will be given the opportunity to develop a career of your choice, on successful completion of your apprenticeship.

This role will be based at our Regent Street office, located in Mansfield.
