As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper handling of all hotel linens and garments.

Responsibilities:


  • Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute hotel linens and garments
  • Operate commercial laundry equipment in accordance with safety guidelines
  • Inspect items for stains, tears, or damage and report any issues to management
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed
  • Ensure all laundry areas are clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
  • Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of soiled linens
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
  • Provide exceptional customer service to hotel guests when delivering requested items

Skills:


  • Previous experience working in a hotel laundry department is preferred
  • Knowledge of commercial laundry equipment and proper handling techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify stains or damage on linens
  • Excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Good communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues effectively

Job Type:
Part-time


Salary:
£10.90 per hour

Expected hours: 16.5 per week
