Description

Axon Moore is partnering with a Private Equity backed business in its final business cycle before sale.

They are looking for an ambitious newly qualified ACA / ACCA from practice who is looking for a secondment into a Financial Accountant role with dealexposure, closely supporting the FC & FD with ad-hoc projects around the business sale.

Responsibilities include:

Production for the month end accounts including group consolidation
Production and posting of key journals including accruals and prepayments
Balance sheet reconciliations preparation and investigating differences
Assist with providing explanations to variances to budget, forecast and prior year
External monthly reporting to funders
Production of statutory accounts
Prepare statutory submissions for review for example relating to VAT, PAYE and P11Ds
Daily treasury and weekly payment run
Weekly flash reporting
Support the forecasting and budgeting process, providing information and analysis where required
Supporting with external auditors and tax teams on year end audit, CT and R&D
Assist with Payroll processing and checking
